Buddies came from my need to find a toothpaste that my child, Jade. We didn’t know Jade was on the autistic spectrum and was later diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. Jade struggled with most toothpaste flavours. She detests mint, as well as most fruit flavours like bubblegum (with many of these not containing fluoride!).

As I’ve researched and developed Buddies, I’ve learnt it’s very common for people on the spectrum to struggle with tastes, smells and textures. I’ve always believed in making any routine as pleasurable and simple as possible - especially when it comes to teethbrushing (which happens twice daily).

That’s why I created a product that smells good, tastes great and makes this process easier for all involved. With that, Buddies for Life was born! Our journey in creating products that make it easier for everyone to enjoy good oral health throughout their lifetime.
