What flavour should I choose?
Everyone experiences taste differently, especially if you're sensitive to flavours, textures, or strong sensations. If you're not sure where to start, our Toothpaste Tasting Box lets you try a sachet of all three fluoride variants before choosing a full-size tube. What is Secret Formula?
Secret Formula is the result of over 10 years of development. We set out to create a flavour with broad appeal that wouldn't be easily associated with foods or drinks that may be harmful to teeth. It's especially loved by people who are highly taste-sensitive and has been extensively tested by some of our hardest-to-please customers.
Do you offer samples?
Samples are available to buy. Our Toothpaste Tasting Box contains sample-sized sachets of all three flavours, allowing you to try them before purchasing a full-size product. It's a popular option for people who are unsure which flavour they'll prefer and also makes a convenient travel pack.
Is fluoride included?
Yes. All of our current toothpaste formulations contain fluoride to help strengthen enamel and protect against tooth decay. The fluoride content is 1450ppm, which is suitable from 3 years when dispensing a pea sized amount from our pumps. To ensure we're providing people with options, we are launching a fluoride-free alternative toothpaste shortly.
Which toothpaste is best for sensory sensitivities?

What age is Buddies suitable for?
​Buddies is suitable from age 2+. For younger children, use a small smear. For older children and adults, use a pea-sized amount. ​

Is Buddies safe if my child swallows it?
Of course. Buddies is specifically formulated with safe ingredients. We know swallowing toothpaste can happen with children, so we've created it to be safe.

Does it contain fluoride?
Yes, Buddies contains a dentist-recommended level of fluoride as professionals agree that fluoride provides the best protection for teeth. However, we recommend following your dentist's advice.

Is Buddies suitable for neurodivergent children?
Absolutely, Buddies was created specifically with neurodivergent people in mind. Not only is the product mild in taste and smooth in texture, but the fun packaging also aims to help reduce stress and resistance that can be associated with teeth brushing.

Is Buddies cruelty-free and vegan?
Yes, we never test on animals, and our toothpaste is vegan.

Does Buddies clean as well as a 'normal' toothpaste?
Absolutely. It's dentist-approved and contains the right levels of fluoride and active ingredients to protect teeth against cavities...just without the harsh taste.

What if my child refused to try Buddies?
Many parents tell us that Buddies was the first toothpaste their child accepted. We recommend introducing it playfully, let them squeeze the tube, or try brushing with you and taste the mild apple flavour at their own pace. Why do the toothpaste samples say 2+ but the pump bottle says 3+?
The toothpaste inside both products is exactly the same. The difference is how much toothpaste is dispensed.
The sample sachets allow parents or carers to apply a very small smear of toothpaste, which is the recommended amount for children aged 2 years.
Our pump bottle has a portion-control dispenser that delivers a consistent amount of toothpaste designed for children aged 3 years and over, helping to reduce waste while providing the right amount for older children.
So the age guidance relates to the dispensed amount, not a difference in the toothpaste itself.
If you're introducing Buddies toothpaste to a younger child, our sample sachets are a great way to get started before moving on to the pump dispenser when they're older.

How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email containing tracking information where available. If you haven't received tracking details or need help locating your order, please contact our customer support team.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Estimated delivery times are shown during the checkout process and in your dispatch confirmation email. Our UK standard delivery service is 48H Tracked, exact timing will be affected by the time your order was placed.

Can I change my order?

What if the flavour isn't right for me?
We understand that taste preferences can be highly individual, particularly for people with sensory sensitivities. That's why we created our Toothpaste Tasting Box, which allows customers to try all three flavours before purchasing a full-size tube. If you're unhappy with your purchase, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
What if my order is damaged?
We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us as soon as possible and include your order number along with photographs of any damage if you can. We'll investigate promptly and work with you to find a suitable solution.

What if my order is undelivered?
Royal Mail are responsible for deliveries once they leave our warehouse. However, we'll do what we can to help. Before contacting us, please first check whether the parcel has been left with one of your neighbours.
