We're delighted to announce that BuddiesForLife has become an Official Supplier and Member of the National Care Association (NCA).

For us, this is about much more than membership.

It represents another important step in our mission to improve everyday oral care for people whose needs are often overlooked.

Across care homes, nursing homes and specialist services, oral care can become increasingly challenging for people living with dementia, frailty, neurological conditions, sensory differences, the effects of cancer treatment and those approaching the end of life. When brushing becomes uncomfortable or difficult to tolerate, maintaining good oral health becomes harder for everyone involved.

That's why we created Senses by BuddiesForLife.

Rather than expecting people to adapt to conventional oral care products, Senses has been designed around the individual. Every product has been developed to help remove barriers to brushing while supporting carers to deliver oral care with greater comfort, dignity and confidence.

Our sensory-friendly range currently includes:

  • Senses Toothpaste, featuring a smooth, low-foaming formulation in gentle flavours designed to improve brushing acceptance.

  • The Senses Toothbrush, with ultra-soft bristles, a small brush head and an ergonomic handle to support more comfortable brushing.

This is only the beginning.

We're also developing a wider range of innovative oral care solutions, including products to support oral moisture and future oral microbiome technologies, creating one complete oral care system designed around the changing needs of people receiving care.

Working together with the care sector

One of the things we're most excited about is the opportunity to work alongside NCA members.

Everything we develop is shaped through listening to carers, care providers, residents, families and clinical professionals. We believe the very best innovations come from understanding the real challenges faced every day.

Whether that's improving brushing acceptance, supporting comfort, or developing entirely new solutions, we're committed to creating products that are practical, evidence-informed and genuinely useful.

National Care Association Members

We're looking forward to meeting NCA members over the coming months, sharing ideas, learning from your experiences and helping improve oral care across the sector.

If you're an NCA member, we'd love to hear from you.

Together, we can make everyday oral care a more comfortable, dignified and positive experience for everyone.
